Cassette tapes were mentioned but for a different reason than what I miss them for: Having music on Tapes/Vinyl/CD's encouraged you to listen to the whole album to get your money's worth. Now most people listen to the hit song from an artist and nothing else.
The Blockbuster reference hit me. My wife (GF at the time) and I would love going to pick a couple movies on a Friday or Saturday afternoon. Then they started renting out games for my PlayStation and PS2, I was happier than a pig in $h!t.
An obsolete technology that is still alive and well, and that I use, is film photography! Yeah, digital is better in literally every way, but when you load a roll of 35mm and have 36 shots, or a roll of 120 and have 10, or sheet film where you could just have 2(!), it makes you think long and hard about each picture. And you learn a lot about photography, because there are no do-overs. You take the shot and either it turns out, or it doesn’t. Simple as that.

Is my sense of innocence considered a technology?
as someone with adhd a phone without internet browser sound really useful for me
also, you have a very nice voice for narrating.
