My friend Jennifer recently gifted me a book that features old kitchen ware, tools and gadgets. I have a number of these old handy gadgets in the collection: strainers, cutters, choppers, openers, sifters, etc. and I share some of there here.

Enjoyed watching. Have a few of these things myself. But learned what the pie crust crimper I have is. I always wondered.. Thanks
I inherited a lot of these from my aunt and mother & I still use a lot of these. I use the Tupperware egg separater constantly.
We have an antique store here that used the be a Ben Franklin's! I have fond memories of getting chili and hot chocolate when I was a kid and my mom got most of her buttons and beads and such there. The dining area is still in the same place it was when it was Ben Franklin's.
Plastic = Bakelite from the earlier 20th century
Camera work is weird, try to shift down and to the left. I only see the guys stomach or all the stuff to the far right.
I love these shows
What an informative video! I inherited all my grandmothers kitchen gadgets years ago when I was young. I foolishly put everything I could not identify in a yard sale. Over the years I've learned what some of them were and vowed I'd never do that again. Then some years back I was given a tool that no one had ever seen. It has a row of round metal disks. It's been in my drawer for over 15 years. And today I came across your video and learned it is a parsley/herb chopper. I will now definitely use it for its intended purpose. Thank you so much for posting this video!
