Here is another fake viral science experiment that was floating online for a while. Can we really turn a glass upside down so that water stays in the glass?
This trick uses a bit of real science, making it harder to understand where the real science finishes and the fake one begins.
Air molecules are constantly pushing into things creating a pressure of about 1 kg per square centimetre. That is enough pressure to hold a card under the water glass in place. The weight of water in my glass is only around 0.1 kg and there is no air pressure in the glass. So the upwards air pressure is much greater than the pressure of the water pushing down – keeping the water in the cup. In theory, water could stay in a glass even without a card. However, in practice, it’s impossible to achieve. Water surface tension is not enough to stabilize the surface when the card is removed. A tiny ripple in the surface of the water makes the water pour down.
The secret of this demonstration is hiding in a special glass that you could get from any magician shop.
This glass makes this fake science experiment look cool, but this is just a magic trick – not science!
There you have it, another misleading science experiment!
Hit the follow to avoid being deceived again.

Have you seen the flying mask one yet? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KON0NeUyQwI
You onow you can your a fine mesr and it will also hold the water then you can put a pin thrugh it and everyone will be even more surprised
Hi
If you breathe a certain way you can get it to be upside down without the lid
Pagal
So they lied to me
Physics: dosent exist
But I worked when I did it without the cap
Actually I ever tried this in school in the 1st grade and the actually stayed IN THE CUP!!!
Glad I watched the whole video cause I was bout to go make a damn mess trying it. Lol
Or you could actually do it for real that uses actual science
Its actually real not a trick
I mean not the glass but t worked with jars
tiktokers have gravit-less water
It works so you are busted for trying to fakely bust a trick.
You are lying I just did some
The action lab guy explained it is possible. But needs a net like lid to work
I know
Ok so how did that cardboard stick to the cover?
Feik
You are faker that really happens
I remember we did this experiment when we were in 5th grade
This actually works, it’s because of pressure and some shit like that
Cool
