Where did Caterpillar tractors start? How did America test tractor armor during WWII? Why did old scrapers do wheelies while loading?
Thanks to our visit last year to the INCREDIBLE Earthmoving Legacy Center in Elkader, Iowa, we have the answers to all these questions and more.
Supported by the legendary CJ Moyna business and Mobile Track Solutions, this collection is among the finest in the world.

Congratulations you just managed to pull off the 2 mile an hour wheelie in a Caterpillar 666 scraper
Great tour, thanks a bunch!
brilliant video
Awesome video.
5:30 that’s basically how every armoured vehicle was tested even in WW2. Since they hadn’t created the metallurgical tests that could verify an armour plate yet they just had to take every vehicle round the back of the factory and shoot them a couple times
660 KittyCat seriously cool , that snorting Thunberg cringing V8 size of a BMC Issigonis Mini, KittyCat missed a trick by not fitting a second V8 to drive the scraper,s axle.
Coolest video EVER!!!!
Let's see a tour of the vehicles outside.
