This is largely incorrect. The math does in fact not show that the universe is 500 times what we believe it to be now, and objects we can see are already moving away from us faster than light. The math shows that the universe is about 93 billion lightyears in diameter.

Regarding what we can see, there is a thing called a Hubble sphere, and it's 13.8 billion light years in radius. All the light inside this sphere can be observed by us. Light emitted from objects beyound this sphere will be moving away from us. But space itself is expanding, so the Hubble sphere is getting bigger. When the Hubble sphere eventually reaches the point where the light emitted from the object at this point outside the Hubble sphere can be observed. Where did you get your facts? Just curious.
