Who’s to say weather or not The industrial Revolution was a naturally organic thing that occurred or if there was a group of societies controlling elites that actually created it? Because as far as I can tell not only did The Industrial Revolution create an Oligarchy class but it has caused so much suffering of loss,pain, and misery to so many who are not apart of The Oligarchy class all in the name of obtaining more profits for the few and less for everyone else. In my humble opinion society and the world as a whole was better off pre Industrial Revolution. Human beings are naturally built to live in small communities surrounded by their extended families and small community friends. Granted I like some of the modern conveniences such as heating and air conditioning systems. But in my opinion a major factor as to why there is so much rabid mental health issues today is because we have been taken away from our small communities where most of us slave away in large cities at some job making money for the Oligarch class instead of connecting to and building up our own small communities.
