I have been thinking this is leave spirit on the world.
I have photos stick at home and saved them for many years.
Elon answered interview, how can he doing many different business, he said is his Robots team helped, maybe 25000, for each one.
All those are team works, many different Line dancers around the world, which are over 25 years, plus another Ballroom dance world competition! Past may add Russia Palace Ballets.
Now make me feel I am shamed to live on world, cause can’t pay fares
But Ai is new machine, can’t fix my machine, I found out I can fix lots stuff better skill than Ai, Especially those Artificial Intelligent, lots data, from I upgraded from my experience. But Ai king put all to their own knowledge, It’s not fair,
Plus additional all different languages programs. Then which is perfect.
Before this program I watched Cleo’s introduce, we need learn how to write Software to operate Robots doing things, but Ai can’t add feeling like human, that’s problem. Like ChapGPT, they has can be used to write whole projects, add great structure, add marketing, trained groups out there, add some humanity, should be perfect..,
I saw those hoping in Jason Hwang’s Ai project.
This was amazing. It should have 8 billion views. Thank you, Lex, my one way friend who will never read this, but still I feel compelled to say it. 🙂
Love this interview!!! Not much chance to get to know more about Marc Raibert. Big fan of boston dynamics, which also encourages me to study robotics. The philosophy part is quite inspiring!!
Wonderful story of one of the greatest roboticists of our time
Let’s remember that BD pursued the wrong strategy for over 30 years (while going through 3 different owning companies) until Tesla surpassed them in less than 3 years, forcing BD to change strategies in a desperate attempt to remain relevant.
its funny to me how some ppl involved in the space don't find AI threatening.
Humans, as a species, had to work and evolve really hard and for a long time to become the alpha predator in their space.
Now, if you EVER want to feel your survival instincts, go to a place where you are not safe.
after that tell me again its a good idea to create a new alpha predator.
Do you think that commercially available intelligent robots capable of performing like human maids and cooks will be widely available when we lie on our death beds alone and miserable (say by year 2044)? You can ponder over it for over a week before replying
Boston Dynamics is too old to be a startup and too focus on the tech but not the product itself and consumers
Marc, I'm a huge fan of your work, and especially liked your inspiration story about seeing the robot parts in the lab. As a kid, I had a book with pictures of the GE Walking Truck that always gave me hope for the future of robotics. Thank you for all of your work, and especially for this wonderful interview.
I love that Lex is a technical guy first and foremost. Interviews like this are a rare thing that we are fortunate to have access to. Marc is such a humble and inspiring character. For all the tech talking heads who love to drone about how they're revolutionizing things, it's so refreshing to see this man who will surely go down in engineering history just eagerly talk about his work and ideas from a place of genuine curiosity and enthusiasm. Thanks Lex and Marc!
I’m amazed by this interview!
Atlas retiring and the next generation of Boston Dynamics robot have been reveal.
I've wanted an interview like this ever since I first saw a Boston Dynamics video
