Evidence exists for a number of truly colossal statues that existed during the Ancient Egyptian Civilization. Carved from single solid pieces of granite, or conglomerate quartzite, several of these behemoths weighed in at 1000 tons and more. Some were transported more than 1000km from their original quarries, and the remaining fragments display amazingly fine details and features. A true logistical and technological challenge.
Could these statues, as well as smaller examples that display other aspects of lost ancient technology, have been inherited by the Dynastic Egyptian Civilization? Might they have formed the basis for the iconic artwork, style and culture of the civilization that we are all familiar with today? Why do we see a tale of two industries, primitive and advanced, in so many categories of Ancient Egyptian artifacts?
Join me as we explore these questions, and examine the evidence for truly colossal remains of ancient Egyptian statues, and forms of lost ancient technology, far beyond that which can be achieved by the tools and techniques that exist in the archaeological record.

What if the 1000 ton statues were actually attempted by the known earlier dynasties, just to see if they could do it? Maybe that's why they crashed and fell, and are always the ones that are broken and damaged? They gave it a try but it didn't work out? Just a devil's advocate, random and uneducated thought I guess. I love your vids anyway.
For a moment in the video I thought this guy couldn’t go 20 seconds without praising how good his videos thumbnails were…. Then I actually looked back to the second screen from my work and realized he was just be accurate lol
I love this approach. I am an engineer and often have to decipher code which my colleagues left me with
First, my commentnis not meant to be a contradiction,I fully believe that there were unknown advanced technologies used to create monuments in Egypt and around the world, but the level of craftsmanship alone is not evidence more advanced technology or construction from different eras. For example, compare modern craftsmanship of houses [in the US] as compared to houses made during the Victorian Era. Modern houses a rudimentary compared to Victorian craftsmanship. But people were building sodd huts at the same time. There is remarkable craftsmanship to be found in the current Era of building, but is rare because it's extraordinarily expensive. My point being, there's more factors than just technology to explain quality craftsmanship.
