Innovations in HPC-training for medical, science and engineering students

Metagenomics is the study of genomic information obtained from environmental samples of varying kinds (soil, water, skin and others). This talk will explore the way in which microbial communities (microbiomes) are characterised experimentally and how computational analyses performed using high-performance computing can provide insights into interactions between bacteria and the ecological communities in which they reside.
