How do you clean these? I recently inherited a bunch of kitchen gadgets. Some have rust. I soaked them in vinegar and it worked to get the rust off but they just rusted even worse. I can't get the process to stop. Please help. I would like to salvage these.

I have an old blue and white spatter bean pot with lid. I have no idea just how old it is. Do you suppose that would be worth anything?
