So much danger through all of these. I’m swearing off vintage in the kitchen – thanks.
We had that cookie press when I was a kid in the 50s. It takes a wee bit of practice, but the secret is to hold it straight up, not at an angle, press gently but firmly and then loft the press straight up, otherwise the cookies get misshapen.
I wish I still had this. I might get one on ebay.
I have a newer Soda Stream and I love it I use it several times a day
As a child, my mom would make hundreds of Christmas cookies, and for as long as i can remember my sis and I helped like from the age of 4. Spritz were one of the types we helped her to make. And the trick with spritz dough and a cookie gun—dough can’t get warmed up. Take a small batch out of the fridge at a time. Plus you can use food coloring in the dough for fun and add sprinkles to the tops before baking. And they don’t need to bake long —no dark edges or tops.
Someone probably after all this time as commented similarly.
