We are not able to measure that kind of IQ. It is literally just guess work. The highest IQ we can somewhat accurately measure today is 187, and that is using the SD16 scale. If you use the SD15 scale (the most common), then it shrinks significantly. While the story might be true, the reference to his IQ and comparing it to Einstein and all that, that is 100% bogus. That is a fact. I wish people would stop using arbitrary non sense to sell a point. The story is equally sad if he had a high, yet relatively normal IQ of 150.
Wait until you hear about Srinivasa Ramanujan, one of the greatest minds ever to grace the world. Died young because he lived in substandard housing in the UK. Because he was Indian. Tragic. Insanity.
The self-teaching method for eating is a think, we did it with all of our three kids from 3-6 months (my daughter was rather fast!). The advantage is that they pick up eating quickly and are much less fussy about food. So their diets are pretty good – they try new food and eat veggies. Otherwise we've not done anything silly like this poor man's parents did.
Even back then social media were pricks.
