This joke doesn’t really hold up in 2010.
“You can’t make a health inquiry on a cellphone. That’s like say ing I don’t want to take up any of my important time in my home. So I’ll get it out of the way on the street.”
“Street cell phone call is the lowest phone call you can make.”

I don't see what's different now? People who use cellphones are still annoying, and if someone called me from a cellphone to ask about health, I would definitely be insulted. It's like going on a date with someone and making a call to someone else during the date. It says "I don't care enough to give you my full attention, I'm just multitasking".
I still can't understand the need to make personal calls while you're walking around in public. To me, that's like pulling out a toothbrush in public and saying "Hey look everyone, I've bought a PORTABLE toothbrush, I can brush my teeth anywhere now! FREEDOM!" Yeah, but there are some things you just don't need to do outside.
To me it seems like cellphone users hate wherever they are, ignore whomever they're with, loathe the real world and always want to be somewhere they're not.
