Humans took it too far when they assumed for some time that if something was unseen it was not there, so maybe zero's value can be unknown? Of course if it were to become known, the number must change. And of course we should never have had more than ten in the hand.

#5 We should be so lucky as to postpone or hault an ice age. Life only grows bigger without an ice age but with on coming without a way to stop it we and most life WILL go extinct. We are well overdue for an ice age but we have managed to slow it, although unknowingly, which for some reason some people think is a bad thing. People as a civilization can survive even the hottest earth has ever been but we WILL NOT survive a full on ice age without serious collapse of society as we know it, Will some species go extinct without polar caps, probably yes. Earth has many times been an ice ball which nothing but bacteria and life living at thermal vents survived. this would set "intelligence" back hundreds of thousands of years. We should be so lucky as to hault or stop ice ages from occurring.
Now, try to wrap your head around being Negative a Trillion dollars or so in debt…
